This unit works very well and should be reliable for many years because it based on bendable metal tubing not plastic. I have already killed a couple plastic units running hot water for long periods so I can really appreciate this feature. It is a little stiffer but not much for cold water. The advantage of the stiffer tube is that after positioning you can use BOTH hands moving the object being sprayed around. This mode of operation will also give the maximum life for the part since metal fatigue or corrosion are its likely causes of failure. I did recycle the metal adaptor from the plastic sprayer rather than use the plastic part provided.
