I saw this at WalMart, and decided to see if I couldn't beat the price on Amazon. Did so, and I LOVE this cover. Here in AZ, the inside car temp is usually between 115 and 130 degrees on start up, six months of the year. I was burning my hands on my leather cover, even without direct sun, and the wheel stayed uncomfortable to hold on to for too long!This is awesome! Warm, but not burning. Cools quickly, and is VERY comfortable to hold on to. Love the "cushy" feel. Mine came a little lighter than the picture, but it's fine with my interior. Don't know how it will hold up, but at this price, I will just buy another one. Temperature seems to have no effect on it, so I would guess that it would be equally effective in cold weather, but I will never know from personal experience... :)UPDATE: I have now had this for almost two years. It still looks great, and works well. I admit, I am a casual driver. I do not drive daily. However, just the heat alone would be enough to break this down, if it were not durable. I am very pleased with it's performance to date. I will update when I have to replace it.
