This s reen is solidly made, and therefore pretty heavy. I can't fault the construction, but installation is a chore. There is really no effective way to mount it. Even though my Gray Wolf 22rr has a steel frame around the hatch, I bought the version for the aluminum frame. If the magnets in the bottom of the screen are any indication, I made the right choice. They wouldn't even hold the screen to the floor. The supplied velcro lasted about 2 hours before it began to pull loose from the trailer frame. I even cleaned everywhere the velcro was stuck with alcohol and allowed it to dry. Yet the velcro came down just by the weight of the screen.I resorted to using the same Harbor Freight tool hanger magnet strips that many others used, and while they work, it's very annoying to pay so much for the screen, then to have to spend another $40-$50 on a method to attach it.Adjustment was also a pain. The opening in my 22rr is basically the smallest the screen is made to fit, which rests in lots of extra material rolled/wadded up at each side and the bottom.Overall, it is well made, but lacking an effective attachment method and there not really being any good way of adjusting its size detracts from the overall value. We love the screen, but velcro doesn’t hold. We purchased 18” long magnets , 3 across top and put 2 on each side. Works great. It says it can be used on aluminum but How ???Just finished a camping trip nest to a secluded lake all to ourselves in Modoc Nation Forest. With this net in place we left the back ramp down and enjoyed an open, airy, and well lit feel inside the trailer when we wanted to eat or read away from bugs. It really changed the feel of the toy hauler into a shaded and bug free zone while still being "outdoors". I can't say enough about how much this added to the trip.However... we have a steel framed door, so bought the magnetic version which is good IF you follow the advice of many other reviewers -- buy some (lots) of magnetic tool holding strips (we used Harbor Freight ones about a foot long) to hold the screen top and sides to your frame. They work perfectly and were cheap. It has not moved at all for a couple of hundred miles of potholed or gravel forest service roads. Also, it still took two of us to install the screen. Its very easy to use after that, just make sure to flip the bottom OEM magnets out of the way when closing the hatch!Worked perfect for my enclosed trailer that I use as a camper when the jeep is out of it. Only iffy thing is the velcro attaches to the trailer right where the door seal is. So the seal sits against the velcro instead of direct to trailer. Time will tell if it tends to leak. It's pretty well made and works great. If you have assist cables you will either have to just go around them or modify it to "split" around them. Pretty easy to do. It doesn't seal at bottom so there will be a chance bugs could get in that way. I may sew some velcro to the bottom to attach it there also. The adhesive on the hook and loop (i.e. “Velcro) almost immediately failed when installing on powder coated metal frame at approx 70 degrees F. It lasted less than a half hour before the screen fell down. The screen seems like a good, sturdy screen but if you get this, plan on finding another way to hang it up. By the way, I tried the magnet one and it has extremely weak magnet strips that fail even quicker. The reason I mention this is because you might consider getting the Velcro one but instead of using the ruthless adhesive just get some bar magnets from the hardware store.Only took about 30 minutes to complete. Pic is straight out of box and up. Needs tweeking but I'm happy with it.Screen itself is great & seems sturdy. I’ll be testing it out over the next week so I’ll let you know. Mine came with Velcro & it’s totally useless. So I tried the magnets I bought as backup…useless. So. Bought some goop glue, stuck it to the back of the Velcro & will see if that holds. Added magnets to the sides of curtain with same glue…we will see.Worked well on a 7'x7' cargo trailer. Follow the instructions to take up the slack. My tailgate has cable supports and there is enough slack to tuck it around the cable and velcro on itself.Magnets that hold the screen in place onto the toy hauler steel frame do not even stick whatsoever and dimensions were way off.Even if it did fit, it would have been a pain to deal with as it does not have straps to hold it in place when rolled in the "up position" and not in use.Going to suck it up and spend the $700 on a Stoett retractable insteadOnly reason this was given two stars is because Amazon is so easy to deal with. Returned the product with no questions asked.P.S: Don't waste your time and money!I bought this to use on the back of a cargo trailer I use to haul our motorcycle so we can camp in it. We put in some RV windows on the walls that open for air and another one in the door. This screen system works perfectly at the back. I am going to buy one for someone else because they want to do the same thing.Works great for our toy hauler. Order extra earth magnets and it works greatJ’ai installé sur une remorque fermée 7x14 et aménager en vr.Nous pouvons laisser le porte arrière ouverte et profiter de la nature.
