Classic RV Wheel Covers 27"-30" Grey for Travel Protection

I've had problems with tire covers on my bus blowing off in high winds. I'm pushing 80, with knee problems, so I don't care to kneel on gravel and to reach around behind the tire to try to feed a strip of material from one side to the other. These fit down over the time far enough so the stay put, even in winds. Without a tie down behind the wheel.These fit perfectly on 215/60-8 tires. The only downside is that they don't have ties on the bottom like other brands, overtime as elastic weakens they may blow off in winds.Easy to place on the tire and fit perfectly.was concerned if they would stay on in storms since no additional tie down or hook straps. Well, they were still there after sitting in storage for 4 months and after 8 months use they still look great.Waited until Spring to write a review to see how well they held up. Took them off today and I was very happy how well they held up through a northern Illinois winter. They look as good as the day I put them on last Fall. Protected my tires great!Seem to be working well so far after a couple of months.Nice quality of the material and they fit great.My tires were 26.5" and these are a perfect fit.I used 2 pairs of this product to cover the tires of a dump trailer parked in full sun in the high desert of Arizona, East and West exposure so maximum UV input on all four.. I purchased them via Amazon in 2017. They are warrantied for 3 years. After a little over two years the outer coating began to fail and crack significantly. When purchased, I diligently registered the product with Classic and kept track of the invoice. I postal mailed them pictures of the beginning-to-fail product and copies of the invoice as well as the registration number. They responded promptly to tell me they would replace the covers to fulfill the 3 year warranty, no questions asked. Very prompt and professional, a company that keeps their word. So I rate the company as five stars plus, although the product itself would probably be a 4. But altogether I am getting three or more years of tire coverage for the price I paid, exactly what the company promised. I would buy this product again new but recognize the need to somewhat revise my full sun parking situation, if not for the benefit of the tires and covers but for the whole trailer.Sturdy, easy to put on and fit well.I bought this set of covers for the wheels on my trailer That's in storage in open environment here in southern Ontario Canada. They fit the wheels very well. there's an elastic that goes over the top but I was surprised that there was no retaining strap at the bottom that would go around the back of the tire to keep them in place from possibly being blown away by wind. As for durability we'll see how they fare out through the balance of this summer and winter coming.To give them an extra chance I sprayed and cleaned them with McGuire's 57 Marine vinyl and rubber cleaner and protector. I have used this on many products that are open to environment like my motorcycle truck tunnel cover rubber and saddlebags etc and it does a really good job. If anything that will help make the cover last longer if it doesn't fly away in the Winter windThese are decent wheel covers for the price. easy to install and will protect the tires from that damaging sun. I rated these 4 out of 5 because it would have been nice to have a strap on the bottom to secure them, not just the elastic on the top around the tire. The bottom will flap in the wind. Not sure if they will blow off in higher winds or not. I will install grommets in the bottom corners to attach around the tire with a bungee to hold them in place, minimal change to them but they will be secure. overall good product for the price.My order arrived very quickly. Good quality for the money and fit perfectly. I should have read the product info more closer, as I thought you only got one per box, but actually its paired. Now I have spare covers when the others wear out.I ordered these to cover the wheels on my utility trailer in the off season to keep the sun off the rubber. When they arrived I realized that there was no fasteners to keep them on. The wind we have here these would be gone in a week. Perhaps a bungee or a tie of some type would solve the issue. I feel a hook system should be already on them. Perhaps these will work for you. I returned mine for a refund.Perhaps should have ordered a larger size for front tires as wheel nuts protrude quite a bit. When I first put them on they did not go to the ground but once the sun baked on them a bit they did stretch out. Have stayed on in high winds with no problem. Happy with purchase so far.
