Stellex Pontoon Boat Cover 21'-24' for Outdoor Protection

Cover is very large and covered my toon well, 22" Bennington. was large enough to cover the sides and the motor. Its a pretty good storage cover. I bought the cover 3/2019. It lasted 2 years and the sun has ruined it and I need to get a new one. I was hoping for a longer life but not sure if there are others out there that last longer.I like the cover, but its not the same material as my old Classic cover. Much thinner. It already has rubbed a hole in one of the corners in the first two months. Had the other classic cover for four years and never had any holes. Also I ordered the same size as last time and this one seems to be quite a bit bigger. Next time I order I will have to do more research. For the price I believe it should be a better quality material.My boat is docked in a marina, but this cover cannot be securely attached while it is in the water. I’m sure it can be attached while the boat is trailered in storage, but not while it is in the water. Also, this cover is not made for moving your boat on a trailer. The description says it is trailerable, however if you read down a little, it states the cover is not trailerable.Order the smaller size than you think. My husband worked for two hours trying to make it fit. We had poles but the tarp was to large even thought I ordered based on the boat size. We don't know yet how it will hold up to wind and weather. We will see. Possibly another rating after we have had it longer would be more beneficial.For the price, this is awesome. We accidentally drove down the highway with this on our boat and well.... we shouldn't have done that. It did rip a little bit by the engine, but that was our fault. We should not have done that. It's not that type of cover. We store our boat 7 months out of the year with this cover and it's great. We have suggested this cover to several of our boating friends.I got the 17' to 20' cover for my 18'pontoon and it is really big. Doesn't fit well but does cover the pontoon. Good sturdy fabric. I'd look for one that fits my size better.Cover is is made of good material but is oversized which causes to sag when water hits it so make sure and be prepared when it rainsI ordered the 21 to 24 foot cover. A little big for our 22 foot boat but extra bungees Helped. Been thru some very heavy rain storms so far and is holding up. Hopefully will last a long time.Do not buy! Would give it 0 stars but thats not an option!Purchased this as a fathers day gift for my dad.Based on a previous review I read before buying, sizes seem to fit big.So I purchased the 17-20ft cover for the 22ft pontoon we have and the cover would have easily fit a 24-25ft. Size is not even close!Looks and fits nothing like in the photos in the ad.See for yourself...Purchased 2 support poles 5ft and 6ft and the cover still comes down to the pontoons.After 1 day of rain, the cover filled up like a bath tub.The next day I braced with 2x4 vertical and horizontal and the same thing happened.The straps are garbageMaterial is cheap and now tornExtremely disappointed for the price that I paidDo not buy! Total waste of money!I like that it arrived promptly, but was very disappointed in its size...it was way to large!!! Huge! Even though I requested the right size for my boat. The only reason it was returned is we needed it immediately to cover the pontoon boat before we left for home. Needs to be more fitted. Very disappointing...do not recommend.Cover would work great as a storage cover as it’s well made and looks as though it would last, but if you plan to use it as a mooring cover it’s not really a good idea , does not fit tight and virtually no easy to have it stay on and without poles would just pool water during the rainDoes not fit well on an 18 foot pontoon boat ... and requires you to build a frame to keep it from filling up with rain water. Adding a 6 foot high , 12 foot long ridge and I'm still not confident that it will withstand the winter snow. Not a product that I would recommend. And the instructions that are included are not very good ... keep looking.It is a bit too long for the application , data should reflect this in the descriptions. I have a 22 foot pontoon boat and this cover would easily fit a 26 foot boat.
