I tried to use the scissors to open a bag of frozen onion rings... they would not cut through it!!! well, maybe i'm just using them for the wrong purpose... but what purpose could they be for if they won't even cut through a bag?? Are they supposed to be used for something else? cutting lettuce? butter? lol they have a serrated edge on them, so maybe they are supposed to be used for another reason. does anyone know???These are decent and there's so many tools, but don't count on the scissors actually being useful and the plastic is thin so be gentle and they should be ok...I LOVE the color options for these. I got the purple, which is amazing. But, the first time I used a spoon to stir Mac and cheese, it got stained. The other issue I have is that water tends to get stuck inside the metal shaft of the spatulas and spoons. I worry it’s gonna get moldy, so I have to shake them until all the water comes out. But, since there’s no way to dry inside, I’m not sure how long they will last. But for the value and the color, it’s worth it for now.I've been using these for about 3 months now and they've held up fairly well. They aren't the highest quality but I'm not very tough on my items, either. I have noticed that the reds weren't the same on all the pieces and that some of them have started to fade and discolor after repeated use and cleaning.Girlfriend loves purple, she absolutely loves this setI bought these for my daughter as she was moving into her first apartment for the price everything is great gives her everything she needs would buy it again for my other twoSOO MANY PIECES I never knew I needed!!!
